Assigments have now been handed out for the remainder of Chapter 4, A Journey in the Dark, and for Chapter 5, The Bridge of Khazad-dum. I would appreciate it if you would acknowledge receipt of your assignment, since LJ notifications can be spotty and I want to be sure everyone has received theirs. Thanks!

Sign-up begins today for the next reading, in which we will finish Book 2, Chapter 4, A Journey in the Dark, and read Book 2, Chapter 5, The Bridge of Khazad-dûm. They will continue through next Monday, March 14. Please comment here if you would like to participate in this reading. There is a longish poem in Chapter 4, the one that Gimli recites, and I will be delighted to award it to the first willing volunteer! :D And I promise to make the section lengths shorter this time so everyone can safely finish their reading in one voice post!!!
