Before you do your reading, please doublecheck that you have seen both the comments that include your section of text. I'm afraid I didn't make it clear enough that I had to copy each person's reading sections into two separate LJ comments (due to LJ limits on how long comments can be). My sincere apologies for any confusion.

Also, if anyone knows of any good sites for Elvish pronunciation, please let me know. I'd like to add those to our list of resources. Same for Dwarvish, and any other language we might encounter during the reading of the book. Thanks!

Okay, everyone should have their assignments now. These are a bit longer than previously, so be aware of time and pacing. You may want to time yourself before doing the actual voice post. Voice posts can be up to five minutes long, and I'm hoping you will all have enough time. Those of you using box.net won't have a problem as there's no time limit for that.

Also, please do your reading from a copy of the book, not from the text I provide for you. My electronic version isn't always completely accurate as it is OCR, and it's really intended for you as a guide and to post so people can read along.

You can begin posting your readings next Monday, August 24, and you have until Monday, August 31 to complete them. (A few people have asked to post early or have a couple day extension-that's totally cool.)

For the new readers, if you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask!

You have until this Monday to sign up for the reading of the next two chapters. Right now I have 17 or (tentatively) 18 people signed up. That will not be enough to read both chapters, so we really, really could use a few more people. If not, we'll just read Chapter 11, and the first dozen people who signed up will be assigned sections. It's not the end of the world, but it would be lovely if we could complete both, so if you're on the fence, consider this a little nudge! :)
