How to join?

I discovered this website quite recently, and now I listen to the recordings beginning with the first chapter, unfortunately, not all parts are still available.

I would like to participate, however I am not a native speaker of English, though I graduated from English Studies. I am not sure if this would be good enough for this project? I would particularly like to record the fragment when Faramir confesses his love to Eowyn, it is one of my favourites.
I live in Poland and do not have the chance to use the voicemail, also I use a free Livejournal account.

Are you planning to record also the Prologue and the Appendices? It would be great :)

Yes, some of the older posts got deleted when the readers deleted their accounts. We are planning to offer those parts up for re-reading soon, and you might want to participate in that.

My co-mod, the_winterwitch is traveling right now. She lives in Europe herself, and has set up a way for people without voicemail to participate, so I am sure she can explain that better than I can.

We'd love to have you take part, and are glad that you are enjoying the readings!

I don't know yet about the Prologue and Appendices, since we are still in The Two Towers, but once we begin on RotK we will take that under consideration.
