International Tolkien Reading Day 2015

Welcome, everybody, guests as well as regular readers, to the International Tolkien Reading Day 2015 at Read Lord of the Rings aloud!

Everybody is welcome to make a recording with a piece they like, and share it here with the community. The only condition is that it is by Tolkien! :o) The theme this year is friendship, but you can read whatever you like.

Comment to this entry with a link to your recording and a short description what it is about, or leave us a link to a place where you have posted it elsewhere. You don't have to do or post it today, too; as long as your reading was created in the spirit of the Tolkien Reading Day.  We're also offering a participation banner for you here (please link only for use on LJ, otherwise please download).

Please contact me at the_winterwitch if you need a place where you can upload your reading. I can also help with editing and converting if necessary.

yesss i will tonight! The theme this year is Friendship according to the Tolkien Society. Are we using that theme or posting whichever passage we love from Tolkien's works? :)

Sorry about the theme; I had forgotten about it and only remembered when periantari mentioned it, and added it to the entry. We didn't want to make the theme mandatory anyway; any favourite piece of yours is fine!
